Generic Depakote is used for controlling certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat the manic phase of bipolar disorders (manic-depressive illness) and to prevent migraine headaches.

Kaletra innehåller en kombination av lopinavir och ritonavir. Lopinavir och ritonavir är antivirala läkemedel som förhindrar att humant imunbristvirus (HIV) celler förökas i kroppen. Lopinavir och ritonavir (Kaletra) är ett kombinerat läkemedel som används för att behandla HIV, som i sin tur kan leda till AIDS. Läkemedlet är inte ett botemedel för HIV eller AIDS.
