Generic Cosopt is used to treat certain types of glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye. Dorzolamide reduces the amount of fluid in the eye, which decreases pressure inside the eye. Timolol is a beta-blocker that also reduces pressure inside the eye.

Generic Timoptic is used for treating increased pressure in the eye (ocular hypertension) and open-angle glaucoma.

Xalacom - eye drops, related to combined antiglaucoma drugs. The drops contain 2 active components: timolol maleate, which reduces the accumulation of moisture, watery consistency in the ciliary epithelium and latanoprost, which reduces the intraocular pressure due to the acceleration of the outflow of water accumulated. The drops act already during the first hour after the beginning of their use and maximum efficiency develops after six-eight hours.

Xalacom® is een anti-glaucoom gecombineerd geneesmiddel met miotisch effect. Elke ml Xalacom® bevat Latanoprost 50mcg en Timolol Maleate LP, wat overeenkomt met timolol 5mg. Deze stoffen dragen bij tot de effectieve vermindering van de verhoogde intra-oculaire druk, dankzij twee verschillende werkingsmechanismen, die bijdragen tot een beter klinisch effect in vergelijking met monotherapie.

Generiek DDAVP is een kunstmatige vorm van een hormoon dat van nature in de hypofyse aangemaakt wordt. Dit hormoon is belangrijk voor vele lichaamsfuncties, zoals de bloedsomloop, bloeddruk, nierfunctie en bij de regulatie van de waterhuishouding. Generiek DDAVP wordt gebruikt voor de behandeling van bedplassen, centrale craniale diabetes insipidus en toegenomen dorst en plassen veroorzaakt door hoofdtrauma of -chirurgie.

Tambocor behoort tot een groep geneesmiddelen die Klasse IC anti-aritmica genoemd wordt. Het werkt in op de manier waarop uw hart klopt. Flecainide wordt in bepaalde situaties gebruikt om ernstige hartritmestoornissen te voorkomen.
