Genericky Zidovudine - , Combivir, Retrovir, Biaxin, Depakote, Fansidar, Rebetol, Rifadin, Valproate

Generic Combivir is in a group of medicines called reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is used for treating HIV infection in combination with other medicines.

Generic Retrovir is used for treating HIV infection when used along with other medicines. It is also used with other medicines to help prevent women from passing the HIV virus to the fetus during pregnancy.

Generic Biaxin is in a group of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections affecting the skin and respiratory system. It is also used together with other medicines to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori.

Generic Depakote is used for controlling certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat the manic phase of bipolar disorders (manic-depressive illness) and to prevent migraine headaches.

Generic Fansidar is used for treating and preventing malaria when other medicines (eg, chloroquine) are not effective or appropriate.

Generic Rebetol is used for treating hepatitis C infection in certain patients when used in combination with interferon.

Rifadin je antibiotikum, které účinně hubí bakterie a brání jejich šíření v těle. Rifadin se používá k léčbě nebo prevenci tuberkulózy (TBC). Rifadin lze také použít ke snížení množství bakterií vyvolávajících meningitidu nebo jiné nosní nebo krční infekce. Rifadin brání přenosu těchto bakterií na jiné osoby, ale nelze jej použít k aktivní léčbě meningitidy.

Lék na některé druhy záchvatů u pacientů trpících epilepsií, kterým nelze valproát podávat perorálně. Dle pokynů lékaře lze užívat i u jiných stavů. Valproát je antikonvulzivum. Zvyšuje obsah určitých chemických látek v mozku.
