Geneerinen Zidovudine - , Combivir, Retrovir, Biaxin, Depakote, Fansidar, Rebetol, Rifadin, Valproate

Generic Combivir is in a group of medicines called reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is used for treating HIV infection in combination with other medicines.

Generic Retrovir is used for treating HIV infection when used along with other medicines. It is also used with other medicines to help prevent women from passing the HIV virus to the fetus during pregnancy.

Generic Biaxin is in a group of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections affecting the skin and respiratory system. It is also used together with other medicines to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori.

Generic Depakote is used for controlling certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat the manic phase of bipolar disorders (manic-depressive illness) and to prevent migraine headaches.

Generic Fansidar is used for treating and preventing malaria when other medicines (eg, chloroquine) are not effective or appropriate.

Generic Rebetol is used for treating hepatitis C infection in certain patients when used in combination with interferon.

Rifadin in antibiootti, joka toimii bakteereja vastaan ja estää niitä leviämästä kehoon. Rifadin-lääkettä käytetään tuberkuloosin (TB) hoidossa ja ehkäisyssä. Rifadin-lääkettä voidaan käyttää myös vähentämään sellaisia bakteereja nenässä ja kurkussa, jotka saattaisivat aiheuttaa aivokalvontulehduksen tai muita tulehduksia. Rifadin ehkäisee näiden bakteerien leviämistä muihin ihmisiin, mutta tätä lääkettä ei voida käyttää aktiivisen aivokalvontulehduksen hoidossa.

Käytetään tietyn tyyppisten kohtausten hallinnassa epilepsiapotilailla, jotka eivät voi käyttää Valproate suun kautta. Sitä voidaan käyttää myös muihin vaivoihin lääkärisi harkinnan mukaan. Valproate on epilepsialääke. Se toimii lisäämällä tiettyä kemikaalia aivoissa.
